Plantain Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients
- 1 ripe plantain

½ tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp butter or margarine

Toothpicks or skewers (optional)
Instructions

Peel the plantain and slice it lengthwise into very thin, flat strips.

Lightly fry the strips in a little butter until soft and flexible (not crispy).

Mix sugar (or honey) with cinnamon in a small bowl.

Spread a thin layer of the cinnamon mix over each warm plantain strip.

Gently roll each strip like a cinnamon roll and secure with a toothpick if needed.

Let cool slightly and enjoy warm!
